I'm Sara.
I earned my Bookkeeping Certificate in 2024 while already employed in the field as a practicing bookkeeper for about 8 years. When it was time to strike out on my own, I knew I wanted to offer services to the small-business and entrepreneurial people in my circles in a non-traditional way. It made a lot of sense in my brain to weave together my personal heart-centered way of living with my left-brained talent for numbers to provide something unique.
I understand the frustration that different kinds of neurodivergence can bring to practical tasks, and I get excited about working together to experiment with different ideas and creative problem-solving to relieve the tension that dealing with money in your business brings you. Shame around money is common, especially in folks with neurodivergence, but working with someone who sees you as are can help relieve some of that heaviness. My goal is to show up for each client with presence and compassion while focusing on practical and actionable steps to benefit your business. You do not have to be neurodivergent to be my client! I am happy to work with all heart-centered individuals who want to shift their relationship with the finances of their business.
I seek to establish a container of trust and support in each client meeting while exploring emotions, recognizing blocks or pain points, and validating your experiences as a human moving through a messy world of trauma, expectations, privilege, discrimination, and countless other challenging life experiences. We are human, and having feelings around money is also human. For those who want to include some gentle spiritual guidance, add-on services are available that include tarot or oracle cards to help provide additional clarity. (That part is never required; just available for those who appreciate some woo woo with their accounting).
You and your business are unique, and it makes sense to have a bookkeeper who understands that sometimes numbers are not just numbers. I'm excited to talk to you about your business and see where we can work some magic. Let's chat!
